The Langley Events Centre - at 7888 200th St. in the Langley community of Willoughby - was officially opened on June 13,2009. At the same time it has become a prime venue for concerts, weddings, consumer shows and seminars. The Centre is home to new fewer than eight professional and organized sports teams and to numerous amateur or community sports activities. The facility is intended to meet a myriad of needs and desires of Langley residents and to become a place of activity and memories for them. The LEC -in its impressive and iconic structure - will host up to 900 event days per year in its various formats - arena, banquet hall, gymnasiums, exercise facilities - and welcome up to one million visitors per year.
